Northglenn
Foundation/History:
Northglenn was incorporated in April, 1969, and encompasses 7.5 square miles of land. The City's progressive Council-Manager form of Government provides top-notch police, water, sewer and other quality City services.
With a population of 36,857 residents, the City of Northglenn enjoys small, friendly neighborhoods with easily accessible schools, convenient dining and shopping opportunities, quality parks, open space and outdoor
recreation facilities.
Demographics/Amenities:
More than 30 miles of interconnecting Greenway trails give residents and visitors the opportunity to walk, bicycle or jog in any direction within the City. This well-planned trail system is connected to adjacent neighboring cities. There are 160.35-acres of parks and open space areas within the community designated to further enhance the quality of life and well-being of residents and visitors.
Location:
Northglenn is located 7 miles north of Denver and is approximately 23 miles northwest of the Denver International Airport (DIA). It is accessible via Interstate-25 at the 104th or 120th Avenue exits.

Colorado Wireless Communities (CWC) has signed a Letter of Intent and is finalizing contract negotiations for the deployment of a multi-use regional wireless broadband network.- Negotiations have been exclusively with Colorado based C-Com.
- C-Com is currently seeking to obtain financing for the CWC project.
- Once funding has been obtained, C-Com will launch 10 pilot areas throughout CWC communities to begin building and testing the network.
- Pilot areas will begin coming online in summer of 2008.
- If all goes well, some areas could begin seeing live service by the end of 2008.
- It will take approximately 18 months from start to finish for C-Com to build out the CWC network.
- Once the network is complete, it will be owned and operated by C-Com.
- Negotiations have been exclusively with Colorado based C-Com.
